Trashed

We're taking a walk into the woods in the Black Mountains of North Carolina. This walk into the forest turns into a lesson on respecting the environment.

Great to see a video!

It's too bad it had to be about something like this.

I wish everyone would not litter, everywhere. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Nice Video but I’ll bet you drive a huge SUV and run your air conditioning all day.

Actually I drive a 4cyl pick up truck that has no A.C. , oh and grab your nads and give your name next time you post.

Easy big boy just checking, and oh if I had any to grab I’d do it just for you. Keep up the good work honey.

That's a pet peeve of mine when people just throw their trash anywhere other than a trash can. I hate it when a person who drives by in a car just throw their trash out of their car window. I may not venture into nature often but I'm with you for sure.

Doug, I think you are ignorant in the area of politics. I agree that we all need to love and take care of the earth, but don't have to necessarily jump on the "Bushit" bandwagon that liberals have deceived many into believing.

Please tell me you understand enough about economics and environmental studies to know that we could be drilling in the Gulf and freeing ourselvs from dependance on foreign oil if it were not for the environmentalist wacko's that pressure the gov't not to do it, even though Chavez does it already for Citgo and others countries as well.

Well Nathan please if you will tell me one positive thing your president has done for our country. Perhaps it was giving away the budget surplus that accumulated during the Clinton years? Remember those $600.00 goverment checks most of us got that was suppose to stimulate the economy? What a joke that was and we could sure have used that money years later as we decided to go around conquering other countries.
Perhaps it was his Healthy Forests Restoration Act which was a smokescreen for a program that gave big business logging companies free reign to cut old growth forest. Maybe it has been his administration's moves to weaken the clean air and clean water acts once again to benefit big business this time at the cost of the public health. Maybe it has been his agenda in Iraq to rid that country of weapons of mass destruction, oh wait, bring Democracy to the people, or was it to fight terrorism there. The reason for being there changes with the weather. When you figure out an honorable exit strategy please let your President know because he doesn't have a clue. As far as drilling in the Gulf goes; fact is my friend we are addicted to oil, check the gas mileage on your SUV if you don't beleive me (you do drive an SUV don't you?), and drilling for oil in the Gulf is like a heroin addict trying to get the monkey off his back by finding a pusher that will sell him cheaper smak. We are trashing God's creation and it's up to us to correct that. Cheap oil drilled in the Gulf and inviting another environmental disaster is not the answer. Bush could push for stricter environmental standards for vehicles, but he won't. Our country could have attended the Kyoto Summit but we were not there. Bush does not represent the American people he represents Big Business. His policies serve the rich at the expense of the common man and woman. He has done more harm than any other President in modern times perhaps in the history of our country.

Great video, and fun response to the non-nadded-anonymous person.

I'm looking to throw a videoblogging meetup party in Atlanta in or around December 5th. (I did one in LA with JetSet and one in New York with Rocketboom). I'm trying to meet up with the videoblogging group out there in Atlanta, and I'll also bring some traditional media types to the party to mix it up a bit.

Drop me a line: chris at network2.tv

Thanks for that beautiful view of nature! Unfortunately, some folks aren't in tune with the earth at certain phases of their life. Perhaps videos like this can create more understanding of the issue and offer a new perspective. One easy thing I can do to take care of the planet: pick up after myself and recycle. How simple is that?

From the look on his face I was expecting a whole washing machine or worst. Anyway I still agree that people who throw their trash like that are pigs.
