Gregory Bald
We had been planning on hiking to the top of Gregory Bald in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Finally last month we made the 11 mile round trip hike. Here is a vlog from that outing.

I really enjoyed that video. Since I've basically stopped watching tv, your vlog is my "Discovery Channel". Great video!
I love your blog! You did an excellent job! I have a blog on earning six figures from home if you would like to come and comment on it!
Nice scenery. If I ever get back there I will try that one.

Where did you go Doug? Love you vlog.
Hey, excellent website. A great Iraq resource is Deaths in Iraq. It breaks all of the casualties down by age, race, branch of the military, country, etc.
Hi - I’m a newbie trying to find some information
relating to conference
However, I managed to find your Blog which I think is interesting and had some relevance to what I was looking for. Thanks for your post and do keep up your good work.!
As someone who's been involved in desktop video since 2000, I can say that we tend to think of our video footage as our children. But you have to get over that if you are to make great videos. You have to be absolutely ruthless in your cuts. It should be very rare to have a clip that goes on for more than four seconds; and if it does, the viewer should be stunned and breathless by what they are seeing. If you've got something to say, show no more than four seconds or so of you talking. Do the rest as voice over. Keep the walking and shooting shots to a bear minimum. Way to much jiggling. If you've got other people, be creative in your shots. Get ahead or behind them, get a solid rest and show them walking towards or away from the camera. Get on their flanks and show them walking into and out of the viewfinder. Always, always be on the lookout for cutaways. Many cutaways help you comply with the four second clip rule and it keeps the guessing on what next thing they might see.
Gee thanks for the suggestions with the previous comment! By the way the word "to" is misused in the incomplete sentance "Way to much jiggling", the word "too" would be appropriate.
Came across your blog by pure accident but thought whilst i was here i could tell you about this free video hosting web site site i found.
Check it out when you have time as i'm sure you could find all kinds of info to suit your needs some time.
Here is a pictorial tour of a trip we made to Gregory Bald.
